Twitter’s chief media scientist Deb Roy will give a keynote address at MIPTV in April.
Roy will speak on the Tuesday of the international TV market and will talk about what he refers to as the “social soundtrack for TV” that Twitter can provide and how the social networking platform can increase the impact of TV shows for audience and advertisers.
Canada-born Deb is Twitter’s chief media scientist, and a tenured professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bluefin Labs, the social analytics business Roy founded, was bought by Twitter last year.
