Ivi.ru doubles audience

Russian online video service provider Ivi.ru doubled its audience to 30 million users last year, according to general director Oleg Tumanov.

Speaking at a press conference on the company’s 2013 results, Tumanov said that penetration of smart TVs and smartphones had boosted Ivi’s numbers.

Ivi.ru grew its revenues by 95% in the course of the year after seeing strong growth in advertising on smart TVs and mobile platforms.
