Latvian cable operator Baltcom has begun offering electricity supply services to its customers, after initially unveiling the plan in August last year.
Latvian households can now order their electricity supply from Baltcom’s website, with 12 month contracts available starting from April for those customers who sign up by March 15.
Baltcom has struck a deal with electricity network supplier AS Sadales Tīkls for the supply of electricity to its customers.
Other telecom service providers to announce they will enter the electricity supply market include Croatia’s T-Hrvatski Telekom, which announced it would include electricity amongst the services it offered in December.
