Italy will hold the presidency of the European Audiovisual Observatory in 2014, the public service organisation announced.
Italy takes over from Bulgaria, which held the presidency last year, with Italy’s director general for cinema of the Ministry of Culture, Nicola Borrelli, the named representative.
The European Audiovisual Observatory is part of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France, and collects and distributes facts, figures and legal analysis of the audiovisual sector in Europe.
