Envivio makes European exec hire

Video processing technology provider Envivio has appointed Stefan Niesen – who previously worked at connected TV software firm Access and TV middleware provider Espial – as its director of sales for western, central and northern Europe.

Niesen will be based at Envivio’s European headquarters in Rennes and will report into Gall Le Garrec, vice-president, sales for EMEA and India. He will manage sales of Envivio’s solutions for video processing and delivery to operators in the region.

At the same time, Envivio also appointed Zulfakkar Ali as director of sales, SAARC – managing business in India and its neighbouring countries. He will report to Moulay El Aatifi, who was recently promoted to managing director, MEA and India.
