UPC Poland CEO to leave in January

Long-serving UPC Poland chief executive Simon Boyd is to retire in January. Liberty Global central and eastern Europe chief Betzalel Kenigsztein will take over day-to-day management responsibility at the Polish cable operator until a new CEO is appointed.

Boyd has been associated with the company for 16 years and was named executive director Of UPC Poland in 2002.
Kenigsztein took over responsibility for Liberty Global’s CEE operations in August, having previously served in senior roles at UPC Hungary and UPC Netherlands.
