Moscow city network operator MGTS is to provide an IPTV service for commercial customers, according to local reports.
MGTS provides digital TV services over its fibre network under the MTS brand. According to reports, the company will offer commercial packages aimed at the hospitality market as well as for public viewing screens.
MGTS marketing and business development director Dmitry Kulakovsky said that the company saw demand for digital TV services from the small and medium-enterprise market.
MGTS and MTS are also believed to be working on the development of a hybrid multiscreen TV service to make content available across TVs, computers and mobile devices, expected to launch next year.
MGTS is majority owned by MTS.
