VimpelCom names Ural region boss

Russian service provider VimpelCom has named Vladimir Shilin as director of its Ural region.

Shilin, who was previously director of corporate business in the Ural region, will now be responsible for all business lines across the operator’s eight branches in the region, covering the cities of Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Kurgan, Perm, Izhevsk, Kirov and Syktyvkar.

He replaces Andrei Kurdanov, who has left the company.
