RTL Netherlands reported a 13% year-on-year increase in combined audience share among its core target group of 20 to 49 year-olds last month, reaching 38.2% of viewers.
The company said that RTL 4, RTL 5, RTL 7 and RTL 8 all performed particularly well, with the latter two recording their best ever November ratings. However, SBS Group suffered a slight audience dip.
RTL 4’s most-watched show was The Voice of Holland on November 8, which logged 3 million viewers. A number of other RTL 4 shows also reached more than 2 million viewers, including Holland ‘s Got Talent.
RTL 7 reached 8.2% audience share in its target group of men aged 20-49 years, marking the best month of November since the station started broadcasting in 2005. Meanwhile, RTL 8 took a 3.5% share in its target demographic of women aged 20-49 – up 31% year-on-year.
