UK connected TV service YouView has enabled BT customers to record internet channels on their Humax boxes. The phased rollout was launched a week ago, with BT YouView customers progressively having their software updated to enable the function.
The update enables viewers to record programmes on internet channels as well as to pause and skip backwards and forwards.
The functionality applies to all BT Extra TV channels, available on the YouView guide from channel 400 onwards which have three dots under the channel number.
According to YouView, customers with YouView boxes from TalkTalk or bought at retail will receive the update in due course.
