Global telco NTT Communications has signed a deal with Spanish fibre operator ONO that is designed to boost the service capabilities of both firms.
ONO – which offers TV, broadband, internet, phone and mobile services in Spain – will use NTT’s global IP network to increase its range of internet services that it offers to large customers and operators.
Meanwhile, NTT becomes one of the leading providers of IP transit in Spain and expands its global tier-1 IP network with two new points of presence in Valencia and Sevilla – adding to its existing PoPs in Madrid and Barcelona.
