SBS Broadcasting plans fourth network
Dutch broadcaster SBS Broadcasting is reportedly planning to launch a new female-skewing channel next year as its fourth network.
According to Dutch press reports, the channel will have a female profile and go live in early 2014, joining SBS’s existing channel line-up of SBS 6, male-skewing network Veronica and existing female-focused channel NET5.
SBS’s interim CEO Hans Edin reportedly announced the plans at a winter presentation given by the channel, without revealing any further details about the network.
