Fox hires new legal boss

Fox International Channels has hired Mitzi Berberi as head of business & legal affairs, UK, France & Africa and head of legal production, Europe.

She joins from Zodiak Rights where she spent five years, before which she was at Canadian formats house Distraction.

At De Agostini-owned Zodiak, Berberi ran the producer and distributor’s legal affairs departments in Paris and London and worked across acquisitions, television sales, digital distribution, home video distribution, merchandising, ancillary, and format licensing.

In the new FIC role, Berberi will be based in London, Berberi will report to Gabriella Dore, FIC’s senior VP and general counsel.

FIC has been staffing up this year and aggressively rolling out new sport, lifestyle and entertainment channels.
