Channel operator Scripps Networks Interactive has hired a new chief financial officer for its global development arm, Scripps Networks International.
Simone Nardi was previously a senior vice president and chief financial officer for NBC Universal’s international channels and television production operations.
Prior to that he was vice president and chief financial officer for NBC Universal’s business development division in New York and worked for a short time as interim chief financial officer and treasurer at US video-on-demand site Hulu.
Nardi will report to Jim Samples, president of Scripps Networks International, who said that: “Simone will play an integral role as we expand our global operations and enter new and promising markets.”
