Hungarian transmission services provider Antenna Hungária has begun testing HbbTV services as part of its MinDig TV offering.
The MinDig TV Plus HbbTV trial service involves streaming services from Fix TV, MTVA and Swiss Radio encompassing extended magazine content, news, weather and other elements.
Antenna Hungária has teamed up with Finland-based middleware provider Sofia Digital to launch the trial service, which is expected to last six months. The company said it hoped to encourage TV manufacturers to enable HbbTV functionality on devices sold in the Hungarian market.
