Elion revamps TV service

TeliaSonera-owned Estonian telco Elion has revamped its nutiTV IPTV offering with a new user experience. 

The operator has revamped its user interface with a simpler structure, with most-viewed channels attached to the picture-in-picture feature.

The company has added a set of ‘most popular’ channels to its basic package, available both in Estonian and Russian. Other new additions to the service include a Disney package, the addition of the NBA channel to the sports package and the abilty to order channels on an à la carte basis.

Elion is also supplying a new remote control with a simplified functionality based on up and down arrows that also enables viewers to watch TV using only a single remote.

The new features are available to nutiTV customers with a Samsung smart TV or a Motorola digibox.

Content services manager Paul Kristjan Lilje said that the changes were deisgned to meet demand for felxibile viewing on any device at any time.
