Music video service Vevo has launched an app for Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players, giving users access to its library of 75,000 music videos, original programming and live concerts.
The app will, by default, open to display Vevo’s always-on broadcast-style linear music channel, which it launched earlier this year. However, viewers can also select genre channels of music, play their own playlists, or browse for specific artists or videos.
The Vevo app is available on 2012 and 2013 models of Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players in Europe in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK. Viewers in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, can also access it.
