Volia extends HDTV services in western Ukraine

Ukrainian cable operator Volia has launched digital and HDTV services in the city of Ternopil in the western part of the country.

The operator’s customers in the Ternopil area will now have access to over 150 digital channels, including 10 HD services including Nat Geo Wild HD, Travel Channel HD and Discovery HD Showcase.

Ternopil is the 16^th city to be upgraded to Volia’s digital services. Volia offers three basic subscription options – a Starter package with 80 channels for UAH45, an Optimal pack with 120 services and Premium HD with 150 channels for UAH65, with additional kids, sport and cinema thematic packages also available.
