Astra 2E scheduled for launch on Monday

SES’s Astra 2E satellite is now schdueld for launch on an ILS Proton launch vehicle from Baikonur in Kazakhstan on September 30.

The Astrium-built satellite has a payload of 60 Ku-band and four Ka-band transponders and will deliver broadcast and broadband services in the EMEA regino from the 28.2/28.5° degrees East orbital slot.
