SFR adds D8 and D17 to catch-up offering

French service provider SFR has added catch-up TV from Canal+’s free-to-air channels D8 and D17 to its TV-on-demand offering.

SFR, which like Canal+ is owned by Vivendi, is the first service provider to offer catch-up TV from the channels outside the CanalSat bouquet.

SFR subscribers will be able to view entertainment and magazine shows including Touche pas à mon poste!, Le Grand 8 and En quête d’actualité as well as series including Game of Thrones, Call the Midwife and Pretty Little Liars.

Content from the two channels will be available across multiple screens with Android and iOS operating systems. The service is available to SFR customers equipped with a TV decoder.
