Opera Software has teamed up with smart TV app specialist Flingo to launch multiple Smart TV apps with Flingo’s dynamic ad insertion capabilities.
These apps will be available on TVs and devices from manufacturers including Sony, TiVo, TCL and HiSense, on which Opera TV products are shipped. The first six apps, including Popular Science, Fitness, Saveur, Fora.tv, CelebTV and TED, will be available today, with more apps launching throughout the year.
The partnership will allow TV manufacturers using Opera’s TV products to get apps from Flingo’s media partners, and will allow all Opera TV developers and ecosystem partners to leverage Samba TV Ads.
