FilmoTV launches cloud-based SVoD

French online subscription video-on-demand service FilmoTV has launched FilmoCloud, a cloud-based TV everywhere version of its service that will allow subscribers to view content on different devices including smart TVs, tablets and smartphones.

FilmoCloud will make FilmoTV’s offering available using adaptive streaming technology to improve the quality of the service.

FilmoTV is currently available via the smart TV portals operated by Samsung, LG and Philips and via Numericable and Orange’s TV services.
