Streaming set-top box firm Roku has updated its Android app to let users stream videos they’ve taken with their mobile device direct to their TV.
The Android rollout comes a month after Roku launched the same update for iOS devices. Video playback is currently supported on select Android devices, including the Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, Nexus 4, and Nexus 7 (2012 edition), and requires Android 4.0 or later.
The feature bolsters the Play on Roku feature that the firm launched last year, which already lets users stream photos and music from mobile to TV via their Roku box.
