Unitymedia signs deal with Essen housing group

German cable operator Unitymedia has signed a deal to supply broadband and TV services to approximately 18,000 housing units in the city of Essen.

Unitymedia has struck a deal with housing group Allbau to supply tenants with internet services at up to 150Mbps as well as HD and SD digital TV services.
