Digital Rapids to highlight video processing solutions

Digital Rapids will use IBC to highlight its file-based media processing workflows, as well as encoding for live and linear multiscreen streaming and broadcast.

It will showcase new and upcoming capabilities in its Transcode Manager 2.0 automated, high-volume, file-based media processing software. Powered by the Kayak technology platform, Transcode Manager 2.0 blends media transformation and workflow processes and delivers capabilities including automated decision-making with rich metadata support; flexible visual workflow design tools; integration of new and emerging technologies and an ecosystem of third-party technology partners, according to Digital Rapids.

Digital Rapids will also show the  new StreamZ Live 4000EX for live and linear applications from IPTV and over-the-top (OTT) headends to high-profile live streaming deployments. This multiscreen encoder builds on the multi-format flexibility, quality and reliability of the StreamZ Live family and features adaptive streaming format support.

The new StreamZ Live 8000EX integrated multiscreen and broadcast live encoder combines live multiscreen and broadcast encoding in a single unit. The StreamZ Live 8000EX features simultaneous H.264 or MPEG-2 encoding for broadcast/cable/telco/satellite television applications and multi-format encoding for multiscreen adaptive streaming delivery to platforms including mobile phones, tablets, PCs, IPTV and over-the-top (OTT) services.

Another new product, the StreamZ Live 6000EX live broadcast encoder delivers the same H.264 and MPEG-2 broadcast encoding capabilities as the StreamZ Live 8000EX integrated broadcast/multiscreen encoder in a tailored configuration for dedicated broadcast, cable and satellite television applications. Upgradeable to scale with customer needs, the StreamZ Live 6000EX augments its linear broadcast outputs with simultaneous file creation for archive or on-demand use.

For multi-Format ingest, encoding and archive applications, Digital Rapids is showing a new software version of the StreamZHD. Part of the StreamZHD multi-format, ingest and encoding system will be showcased, including further enhancements to StreamZHD’s encoding quality and performance. Applications range from post production and archive to live and on-demand multiscreen distribution.
