Russian HD channels grow fivefold

The number of HD channels in Russia has multiplied by almost five times in the last year and a half, according to research group TelecomDaily.

According to TelecomDaily, the number of HD channels available in the Russian market has grown from 10 to 45 over the last 18 months, with the expectation that this will increase to 50 by the end of the year.
