UK cable operator Virgin Media has added UKTV’s Drama channel to its lineup.
The network is available to all Virgin TV customers and will air catalogue dramas such as Pride and Prejudice, The Cinder Path and Lark Rise to Candleford.
Drama takes slot number 190 on the Virgin EPG with the channel also due to be added to Virgin TV Anywhere – Virgin’s cloud-based service that lets subscribers watch online and from mobiles and tablets.
“Drama is packed with iconic shows that really captured the imagination of the British public so we’re excited to bring this great new channel into the homes of our TV customers and onto Virgin TV Anywhere,” said Virgin Media’s TV product director Nick Forward.
UKTV launched Drama on UK digital-terrestrial service Freeview last month and first announced the channel back in May.
