DVR-maker TiVo has appointed Sheryl Harkins, a 17-year veteran with research firm Nielsen, to its research and analytics division.
Harkins will lead TiVo Research and Analytics’ (TRA’s) consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales division as senior vice-president and brings to the role 25 years of experience delivering advertising and audience measurement solutions for brand advertisers and media agencies.
TRA launched its single-source advertising optimisation solution in 2008 and since then claims to have served more than 45 consumer goods brands as customers of its media TRAnalytics platform.
Harkins most recently worked at Nielsen as SVP of ad solutions sales and marketing having progressing from an account executive. Prior to Nielsen she spent a decade working in media research for The Leo Burnett Company.
