Lithuania’s TEO appoints food packaging exec as general manager

Lithuanian service provider TEO has appointed Tetra Pak executive Kęstutis Šliužas as its next general manager. 

Šliužas is due to take up his role on November 1 following a long stint at the food processing and packaging firm, which he joined in 1996.

From January 2011 Šliužas was Managing Director of Tetra Pak Ukraine, prior to which he worked for the firm in Lithuania, Italy and Russia and has been responsible for product development, marketing management, sales and leading other departments.

He will take over from acting General Manager Giedrius Vegys who took on the TEO top job following the departure Arūnas Šikšta in February.
