Netflix UK agrees next day Breaking Bad episode deal

Netflix in the UK will launch the final episodes of AMC drug drama Breaking Bad just a day after they air in the US.

As of August 12, Netflix users in the UK and Ireland will have access to the AMC series’ episodes just a day after they broadcast in the US on AMC. The first half of the season launched on US cable on July 15. New episodes will be available every Monday thereafter until the show’s end.

Netflix employed a similar strategy for the third season of another AMC drama, the US remake of The Killing.
