Iraqi government-backed holding company The Iraqi Media Network has launched a new bouquet of Iraqi channels on the Arabsat satellite platform at 26° East.
The Iraqi Media Network has built the bouquet, the Satellite TV Broadcast Platform, at its facility in Baghdad. The platform includes TV channels aimed at the Iraqi population that broadcast from inside or outside Iraq, and is designed to enable Iraqi and other Arabic viewers to watch channels on a single frequency across the Middle East and North Africa and parts of Asia and Europe.
The Iraqi Media Network’s own media outlets include Al-Iraqiya TV and Republic of Iraq Radio.
