IPTV set-top provider Amino Communications has enhanced the range of multiscreen capabilities for its Aminet IPTV product range when running on middleware partner Minerva’s iTVFusion 5 video service management platform.
Amino said its A140 and A540 HD devices are now fully certified with Minerva’s latest 5.4 client. The platform enables operators to deliver linear and on-demand video services to a range of iOS and Android tablets and smartphones.
Support for other new features includes network recording for content streamed via HLS and improved integration of Twitter feeds with on-screen viewing. Improvements have also been made to video-on-demand management making it easier for operators to manage multi-region service offerings, said Amino.
Amino CEO Donald McGarva said: “Our long standing relationship with Minerva goes back to the very start of IPTV. This latest certification will enhance our proposition to operators, combining new functionality plus the industry leading HLS capability and high quality our customers expect from Amino devices.”
