VimpelCom consolidates subsidiaries

Russian service provider VimpelCom has completed the acquisition and integration of a number of regional subsidiaries.

VimpelCom, which operates under the Beeline brand, has consolidated Izhsvyazinvest in the Republic of Udmurtia, Ural Net in Chelyabinsk, Helios-TV in the Republic of Sakha/Yakutia, Novaya Svyaz in Artem, New Telephone Company (NTC) in Vladivostok and Sakhalin Mobile Telecom in Moscow.

NTC is the largest of the operators. Helios-TV provides a range of internet, cable TV and MMDS TV services. Izhsvyazinvest provides fixed-line services in a number of cities in Udmurtia.
