Romtelecom makes appointments

Romtelecom has made a series of executive appointments.

The Romanian service provider has named Gunnar Pahnke as chief of strategy, transformation and wholesale services Romanian, for fixed and mobile operations for Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania. Pahnke was previously vice-president, strategy, Europe at Deutsche Telekom.

In other appointments, Bogdan Voicu has been named executive director supply management Romania, fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania, Emmanuel Sordet has been named executive director of company relationships, Romania, fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania, and Ruxandra Voda has been appointed communications manager, fixed and mobile operations, Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania.

Olaf Lausen, previously general manager, new business development, has been appointed as chief of staff for fixed and mobile operations, Romania.

Current chief commercial officer Panos Makris will leave the company in August, to be replaced by Mathias Hanel, who has previously held a number of senior roles within Deutsche Telekom.
