Spanish satellite operator Hispasat has agreed a deal with LG Espana to promote the “development, knowledge and expansion” of ultra HD television.
“The marketplace trends show that the short-term future of household television and cinema contents around the world are heading towards the 4K quality resolution emissions,” said Hispasat.
Last week the firm said, following its annual general meeting, that last year it had consolidated operating profit of €70.6 million, the same as the prior year, while revenues increased by 6.9% to €200.3 million.
