Liberty Global-owned Swiss cable operator UPC Cablecom has named former Sky Deutschland executive Ivo Hoevel as head of marketing and products.
Hoevel was previously senior vice-president in charge of marketing at Sky Deutschland.
“I am very pleased that in Ivo Hoevel we have been able to attract a top manager with an excellent track record in TV and mobile marketing for this key role,” said Eric Tveter, CEO of UPC Cablecom. “Following our successful turnaround over the past few years, our goal now is to inject new stimulus into the market and to expand into new areas of business. Ivo Hoevel will play an important part in this growth phase.”
