Belarusian pay TV provider Cosmos TV Belarus has named Vadim Zaitsev as its new CEO and has announced a new supervisory structure based on a supervisory board and directorate, with the stated aim of improving corporate governance.
Zaitsev’s previous career was in the state security services. After serving as the deputy chief of the Belarusian State Committee for Border Troops (GKPV) he was most recently chairman of the country’s Committee for State Security (KGB).
Cosmos TV Belarus’s supervisory board will be headed by Vitaly Mikhailovich Klishin. Klishin was most recently development director of Russian service provider Akado.
