UK operator TalkTalk has partnered with Indian film distributor Eros International to launch on-demand Bollywood films through its connected TV service YouView.
Under the deal the ErosNow online service joins Talk Talk’s YouView platform, with viewers able to rent films on a pay-per-view basis for £2, or buy unlimited access to around 20 Bollywood films, to watch on demand for £5.
Laurence Miall-d’Août, TalkTalk’s Director of TV, said: “ErosNow is the latest international content partner to join YouView from TalkTalk, and we have a lot more specialist channels coming on board. With 12,000 homes choosing TalkTalk TV every week, we are proud to be the fastest growing new TV service in Britain.”
