Eurosport has unveiled plans to offer enhanced coverage of the forthcoming 100th Tour de France cycle race.
The sports channel will air a record 280 hours of coverage of the race, including 87 hours live, all in high definition. One hour highlight programmes from the day’s stage will be broadcast every evening in prime time on Eurosport 2 and repeated the following morning on Eurosport.
Ahead of the race, Eurosport wll broadcast Tour de France Countdown. From Monday June 24 to Thursday June 27, a series of six programmes will feature analysis and exclusive interviews with participants.
