Mtel expands fibre-optic network

Bulgarian operator Mtel has expanded its fixed fibre-optic network to the city of Ruse, in the north of the country, bringing high speed internet and home digital TV.

Mtel said that Ruse is now the next town after Sofia, Varna, Bourgas, Plovdiv, Devnia and Veliko Tarnovo where it is providing internet users with 2Gb per second connectivity. Mtel covers one million households in Bulgaria.
