Sony has launched a new version of its Google TV set-top box that includes voice-search via a microphone on the remote control.
The NSZ-GS8 Internet Player with Google TV includes an HDMI connection and allows users to search for content on live TV, the internet and apps.
The box provides a browsing experience via Google Chrome, while content can be shared with Android devices and with iOS devices via the Airtight app.
The new device will be in Sony stores and other retail outlets in the US from next month, priced at US$199 (€150).
