The MGM Channel in HD has launched exclusively on Sky in Germany and Austria.
The deal, agreed between Sky Deutschland and MGM Channel International Holdings – a subsidiary of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios – boosts Sky Germany’s HD offering to 66 stations.
The MGM Channel HD will be available as part of the Sky HD movie package, with all Sky customers able to watch films on the channel as part of a ‘free weekend’ promotion over the coming months.
