Liberty Global-owned UPC Cablecom has launched the Horizon TV Remote app that allows customers with new Horizon set-top boxes to use their iPad or iPhone as a remote control.
The app, which is free to Horizon subscribers, also makes it easier to search for films on the Horizon HD Recorder via the use of the iPhone or iPad keyboard. Customers can also ‘push’ TV shows or films from the iPad and iPhone to the TV.
The app also allows users to watchlive TV on about 60 channels and choose from over 1,000 video-on-demand movies and watch TV programmes and films on up to three iPhones or iPads simultaneously.
