French video-on-demand service FlmoTV has signed a deal with local collecting societies SACD and ADAGP that will allow it to launch subscription VOD services.
The contract guarantees remuneration to works’ authors when content is shown on-demand on FilmoTV’s service.
FilmoTV, launched in 2009, is an SVOD service dedicated exclusively to movies, available for €9.99 a month, giving access to over 500 films and bonus material. The service is available on FilmoTV’s website, Samsung, LG and Philips smart TVs, tablets and smartphones and via the TV services of Numericable and Orange.
