Germany’s TechniSat is presenting its new TechniStar K2 ISIO receivers at ANGA COM, as well as its new set-top box platform.
The firm says that the TechniStar K2 ISIO is “the perfect value-for-money solution for entering the hybrid DVB-C plus IPTV world.”
It includes support for IP-Multicast functionality, allowing the TechniStar K2 ISIO to be used also in IPTV networks.
The new STB platform meanwhile includes technologies from NDS CAS, Verimatrix DRM, Motorolas Dreamgallery Middleware and other solutions and is designed to enable a high level of flexibility in developing customised solutions.
Also on show are TechniPad tablets, which come in two sizes with the ‘My TechniSat App’ pre-installed. Technisat called this the “logical next step in the multiroom and multiscreen solutions.”
Technisat can be found at booth K9, level 10.2
