Liberty Global-owned UPC DTH is adding two new channels to its freeSAT offering in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
From June 1, freeSAT’s Medium package will include Markiza TV-owned Slovakian channel Dajto and Prima TV’s Prima Zoom from the Czech Republic.
Prima Zoom provides content for a male-skewed audience from 08:00-02:00, featuring documentary and factual entertainment programmes from the BBC and other international leading content providers.
Programmes on the channel include Ocean Giants, Sharks Hunters, The Birth of Europe and Superstorm USA.
Male-skewed Dajto broadcasts 24 hours a day and shows international series including NCIS: Los Angeles, Nikita, Person of Interest, and V and factual shows including Top Gear.
UPC DTH’s marketing and sales director for the Czech Republic, Jiri Kraval, said: “We are pleased to further enrich our medium package line-up through the addition of Prima Zoom in Czech and Dajto in Slovakia. This will further enhance our already rich package of channels giving our customers more choice without additional costs. Our Medium package represents a great value and when our customers add our extensive and well positioned Plus service they are sure to get the best channels available in our markets.”
