PBS goes live on Roku boxes

The US broadcast networks PBS and PBS Kids have launched channel apps on Roku web-streaming TV boxes in the US.

The PBS channel features videos from popular PBS programs such as NOVA, Masterpiece, Frontline and Antiques Roadshow, while the PBS Kids channel includes full-length episodes of shows like Curious George, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!

Roku users can also stream content from their local PBS station and short, web-original videos from PBS Digital Studios.
