Charlie Sheen invests in OTT provider DigiDev

Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen has made an investment in US-based over-the-top TV provider DigiDev following a deal between the company and the actor for the development and creation of the Charlie Sheen Cyber TV channel. 

DigiDev, formerly known as Regency Resources, was created by former Image Entertainment CEO Martin Greenwald and internet startup specialist Joseph Bretz to develop OTT content and hybrid delivery systems for distribution to internet connected DVD players, games consoles and smart TVs.

“Joe and his crew have built an amazing machine and I’m looking forward to the launch of my channel. My investment in DigiDev is a vote of confidence, confidence in Joe and confidence in the industry,” said Sheen.
