Viacom International Media Networks-owned music and entertainment channel Viva has launched on the Freesat platform in the UK.
Viva, Viacom’s only free-to-air channel in the UK, offers a mix of popular music content targeted at 16-24 year-olds.
Paul Gilshan, Freesat’s marketing director said: “We’re proud to be increasing our line-up with the addition of such a hugely popular channel as Viva. Having recently celebrated our 3 millionth sale, Viva further strengthens Freesat’s entertainment genre as we continue to bring greater subscription-free choice to audiences right across the UK.”
