Minerva and Accedo strike resale partnership

Middleware provider Minerva and TV applications specialist Accedo have partnered in a deal that will see the latter become a Minerva preferred partner for app stores and apps. 

The partnership will also see Minerva resell Accedo’s app services worldwide, with operators able to integrate Accedo’s solutions and content with Minerva’s iTVFusion platform.

“Through this agreement, we’ll be able to offer a feature rich solution that enables pay TV operators to differentiate their service – critical in today’s competitive markets,” said Jean-Georges Fritsch, Minerva’s executive VP of products.

Minerva Networks provides software solutions for the delivery of television services over IP networks and claims to have more than 300 operator partners around the world.

Accedo provides apps, tools and services to media companies, consumer electronics and TV operators around the world. It is headquartered in Stockholm and has offices in London, Madrid, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Sydney.
